This hybrid role allowed me to grow in so many ways. Notably collaborating with the product team to prototype R&D work. I also contributed directly to the Design system & production application on a regular basis.
Software Engineer
Mashery Inc. introduced me to a level of software creation, that I was un-aware existed. At Mashery, I was a software engineer working primarily on front end application interface. My main objective was to implement layouts into custom interface.
Interaction Designer / Developer
Working at SLAP Magazine was a lucky coincidence at best. Growing up as a skateboarder, this was better than having a job. My role was to create interactive editorials. With this, I had the opportunity to meet many of my childhood idols. This magazine is housed in the same building as Juxtapoz (art & culture) & Thrasher skateboard magazine.
Web Developer
At Marmot I was a member of the Marketing team. Primarily I worked on the public product domain and athlete blog. Tasks ranged from Design to implementation.
